Mr.Y (my Korean adult learner) was sharing about Korea Children Day to me.
Korea Children Day falls on 5 May every year, it is a Korea Public Holiday. While 8 May is Parent Day in Korea( there do not have Mother day or Father Day), although this Parent Day is not a public holiday in Korea, but Korean are celebrating this day with their parents like how we celebrating mother day and father day with our parents.
Children’s Day in Korea is an important holiday. On this day, South Korea celebrates its most-loved inhabitants: the Children.
In my view, it shows respect, and care and is highly concerned to children’s happiness. On this day 5 May, all the salaried workers get a day off work, and children get a day off school too. It’s an opportunity for busy parents to spend a quality day with their children. Visiting the amusement park is a popular activity on Chilren’s Day
Should our country have this important day for all the children and parent too?
What kind of memory shall we craete for kids (all the kids) on this day to make them own a memorable day forever in life?
